This guide is for replacing the DVD drive power supply cable on the Nintendo Wii.

Step 1

Earlier disassembling the dvd bulldoze ability supply cablevision of your Nintendo Wii, you lot have to turn it off and unplug it for safety reasons.

Step 2

Step 4

Then gently pull on the forepart plate.

They hide three screws : two cruciform and one Tri-wing.

With a cruciform and tri wing screwdriver, remove those three screws.

Step 10

Apply the iSesamo to remove the two condom anxiety stuck to the bottom face of the Wii well-nigh the rear ports.

Remove them.

Step 11

Grab the acme instance and lift it up.

The top case of your Nintendo Wii is at present disassembled.

Remove the fan from the Wii.

Footstep nineteen

Use the tip of a spudger or another fine-pointed tool to carefully pry one of the black plastic retaining fingers attached to the fan shroud away from the Wi-Fi antenna board.

Use a cruciform screwdriver and remove the screw circled in red.

It secures the left antenna to the console.

Footstep 20

Remove the two pieces of tape securing the second Wi-Fi antenna cable to the plastic subclass near the rut sink.

Stride 21

Carefully de-route both antennas from the frame of the Wii and lay them aside.

Stride 22

With a cruciform screwdriver, remove the two screw circled in cherry.

They secure the fan shroud to the Wii.

Remove information technology.

Stride 23

With a cruciform screwdriver, remove the vii screws circled in red.

They secure the logic board bracket.

Elevator the subclass out of the Wii.

Step 24

Still with the cruciform screwdriver, remove the two spiral circled in red.

Those screws secure the blackness bracket to the bottom console near the front of the Wii.

Remove it.

Stride 25

There is anut located on the side of the subclass removed previously. Don't lose it.

With the cruciform screwdriver, remove the eight screws circled in cerise.

Those screws secure the logic board cover to the bottom panel. .

Carefully lift the logic board cover off the logic board, minding any cables that may go caught.

Step 26

The logic lath bracket is now disassembled.

Grab the dvd bulldoze power cable. Disconnect and remove information technology.

Step 27

The dvd drive power supply cablevision of your Nintendo Wii is now disassembled.

You can supercede it with a new ane if needed.
